Location
The hotel is very well located on the eastern side of Naledi Drive, the main road through Dullstroom, which is generally perceived to be the quieter side of town. Most bedrooms have lovely views towards the surrounding farmlands.
Dullstroom is extremely well located, being within an easy two and a half hour drive of Pretoria and Johannesburg and as such attracts an average of 1 500 to 1 700 weekend visitors most weekends. And these figures are consistent all year round.
The Conference Centre offers another aspect to the appeal of the hotel as a business destination.
Dullstroom also offers an excellent stop over for international visitors and tour groups, being mid way between Oliver Tambo airport and all the tourist attractions in the Lowveld Kruger Park, Pilgrims Rest etc. The Hotel currently has two contracts with an overseas touring company that brings in groups of between 20 and 30 clients twice a week.

The hotel offers a variety of accommodation options from luxury two person suites, a honeymoon suite and family units. The luxury suites are very spacious and have a lounge area and dining area, a closed combustion fireplace, TVs, full bathrooms with double vanities, a separate toilet and have private patios with views towards the surrounding farmlands or gardens. The lower suites have views over the hotels small earth dam. Attention has been given to the comfort of the rooms, privacy and all include a fireplace that is central to expectations in Dullstroom.

Inclusions and Exclusions:
The Highlander will be sold as a going concern, and as such all the furniture, fittings and movables associated with the business will be included in the sale. A comprehensive inventory will be provided within 10 (ten) days of a Sales Agreement being entered into. The estimated value of such inventory is R2 million.
Consumables, including the bar stock and the kitchen stock are excluded from the Purchase Price. A value will be attached to same at the time of transfer and payment will be made as a separate transaction.
